As he moves around Los Angeles, he investigates cases while balancing a private life that includes being a father and two ex-wives. It was originally set up with a CBS series commitment in 2020 and was canceled just before the first episode was filmed due to COVID. .

It has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season, based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict. Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal regulations. California personalized plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have a minimum of eight.. Ok, I just finished this show and I still don’t understand why people have given it low ratings. It definitely deserves at least an 8-8.5.
I ended up watching 6 episodes in one go
I was very skeptical about watching this because of the low ratings and not so good reviews, but I think we’ll try a few episodes and then decide. I’ve seen THE LINCOLN LAWYER and we all loved Matthew McConaughey, so Manuel Garcia-Rulfo seemed like the wrong cast. I think he’s also one of the reasons why not enough people watch this show because he doesn’t. big name, but he’s actually good as Lincoln’s lawyer. I loved his acting and will definitely check out his other works as I don’t know much about him either.
Looking forward to season 2
And the show has all the makings of a crime thriller. drama. Acting, pacing and production are all good. If you like series like BOSCH or other courtroom shows, give it a try and you’ll love it. Let’s hope Netflix doesn’t cancel it.
It deserves more attention & love than it becomes
