Tale
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes a living by executing hit movies for the highest pay. He soon meets his match in the ranks of a tough British intelligence officer who tracks him down on a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. "The Day of the Jackal" is set in 1963 and revolves around the attempted assassination of then-French President Charles de Gaulle.
Lynch is completely wrong
The show moves the setting to the present day. Reference Graham Norton likes: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossom (2024). Her acting is bad.
It baffles me
Why was she cast in this role when there are so many actresses who could be better at it. Her character is not just interesting as another obsessive agent. Eddie Redmayne can do it all, his acting range is impressive from stage dramas, musicals, films.
He never disappoints
In this role, he is solid in everything he does. The plot is interesting and exciting…..funny how we cheer for The Jackal… Not for Agent 6 of MI6.
The location of the series is impressive, and the plot is high-octane excitement
It is not comparable to the original, it is a worthy adaptation for our current times.
