Totsuko is a high school student who has the ability to see the “colors” of others. The colors of joy, excitement, and serenity, as well as one color she considers her favorite. Kimi, a classmate at her school, gives off the most beautiful color of all. Although she doesn’t play an instrument, Totsuko forms a band with Kimi and Rui, a discreet music lover whom they meet in a second-hand bookstore in a remote corner of the city.
