In this supernatural winter epic set in the 19th century, a drunken apple salesman must rise from nothing to hero and become the greatest fur trapper in North America by killing hundreds of beavers. Director Mike Cheslik estimates that the mascot costumes cost around $10,000, and the crew purchased all of their costumes online.

Jean Kayak and Acme Applejack Written and produced by Wayne TewsEngineer and co-produced by Karl Landwehr. Before I saw the film at the Fantasy Filmfest in Hamburg, I wondered how the trailer could pack an hour and a half of ideas into a trailer without it being slow or boring.
I highly recommend watching it
While it offers a consistent, intelligent, understated and highly effective visual style, the presentation never lets you go for a second or misses a funny moment. The way it intelligently iterates, retells and develops events in a limited universe is excellent!
