well, the writers ran out of books to adapt
Main Title (not listed) Written and starred by Ramin Djawadi. Seasons 1-4 were pretty much perfect, there’s not much to say. There were so many great moments, so many great episodes. But then… Seasons five and six were pretty boring for the most part.

But they did have their moments, they even had some of the best episodes of the series. In season 7 you could really see the drop in quality. Everything felt so rushed that most of it was just really stupid. Season 8 was the biggest disappointment I have ever seen. I have never seen anything more terrible.

The ending was the dumbest thing I have ever seen. All the characters were so stupid. And all the characters were basically destroyed because of the writing. Overall, I still give it a 9/10 just because of the first half of the show. And yet it had its moments.
It really is a must watch
I would still consider this show a masterpiece and I recommend it 100%.
