Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now lives in a Bear Retirement Home. With the Brown family in tow, an exciting adventure ensues when a mystery throws them on an unexpected journey.
The first two Paddington films were very entertaining and full of charm, with some excellent cameos
However, he came up with the idea for this third film and was involved as an executive producer. Paddington (2014) follows.
This film just doesn’t get going and you wonder what happened to the writers
Overall, the performances are a bit clumsy or barely fleshed out, and there are very few laughs. It’s a real shame because Paddington 2 in particular was a gem, mainly led by Hugh Grant who was excellent, but ably supported by the prison crew.
In comparison, Paddington 3 was very rushed
it needed a much better script, fleshed out characters and funnier action scenes. An hour after watching it, you might not even remember it at all…
