A ranch family in Montana deals with others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned hand in the Rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget”; his mountain accent and reverts to the SoCal speaking voice he usually uses. This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big city mafia life. This series is well acted, the first two episodes were well written and leaves you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention the scenery in Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of Ewings from the 70’s drama Dallas. In short, Yellowstone is “Dallas”; meet "Sopranos"..
