The first season had a narrative drive anchored by the Ultron-the-Watcher storyline that made the finale satisfying. The second season didn’t have the same overarching plot, as the episodes felt much more disconnected from each other. I liked some of the episodes, especially the first one where Nebula joins the Nova Corps, as I felt it gave off a very steampunk sci-fi feel that I liked. I also liked the episode with Hela and the 10 Rings. I felt that he did a good job of imitating the plot of the first Thor film, but with Hela as the main character. I really liked a lot of the action in the second season, but the pace in both seasons is just too fast. This is understandable, since they are asking to pack the entire story into 30 minutes of time. At the same time, it is so fast-paced that the show doesn’t allow you to stop catching your breath and take in various plot twists… especially dramatic ones. Overall, I felt that the second season was more boring than I had hoped. The first season was rated an 8, but after the end of the second season, I’ll be downgrading the show overall to a 7.
